The Department of Art & Art History is hosting a special hands-on, reflective workshop from "Art after the Storm" on Wednesday, Sept. 24 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm in Owen Hall, room 112.

"Art after the Storm" is an art-based children's program designed and implemented by UNCA student Emily Settles. The pilot program, held at Black Mountain Elementary School in Spring 2025, cultivated healing and resilience through creative expression in the wake of Hurricane Helene.

Our free workshop is open to all students, faculty, community members and professional educators. Materials included. See the website Post Helene Symposium for registration and more information.
