Artist Statement
Neeta Kepchar is an Alabama native and first-generation Indian American photographer and singer-songwriter. She explores intimacy, care, and human connection through immersive storytelling. In a visual culture dominated by crisis and spectacle, her practice emphasizes the quiet significance of everyday moments. Born is an installation centered on the first months of her daughter’s life, using close observation of domestic rhythms to create space for wonder and gratitude.
