"The medium of my most recent work is cast iron. The material and process are attractive because of the necessity of a group activity. Sculpture in general needs more than one person and enhances the teaching process. My most fondly remembered experiences in undergraduate and graduate school were group efforts.

I also use steel fabrication as a method of working and find these two media the most satisfying. My latest fabricated pieces are large outdoor works presently installed in Chattanooga, Tennessee and Asheville, North Carolina. All of my work involves simple structural forms and design."
