Michael Bell is a sculptor and educator from Jacksonville, Florida, whose work explores the intersection of the natural and industrial worlds. He currently serves as the Sculpture and Ceramics Studio Technician at University of North Carolina at Asheville, where he supports students and faculty through technical instruction, material guidance, and studio maintenance.

Bell earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from University of North Florida in 2011 and went on to receive his MFA from University of Kentucky in 2018. Across his academic and professional career, he has developed a material-driven sculptural practice that combines wood, steel, and found objects. His work investigates the evolving relationship between humankind and the natural environment, addressing themes of connection, conflict, and coexistence through processes that reflect both industrial production and organic growth.
